Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What kind of clothes and shoes should I wear?
A. We would recommend wearing comfortable clothes and lightweight walking shoes.

Q. I don't have a partner. Can I come on my own?
A. Yes, of course. We have gentlemen who come on their own and so do ladies. Besides, we have a number of teachers who are able to dance either the gentleman's or lady's role, so if you cannot find a partner in the class, they are happy to practise with you.

Q. Do I need previous experience?
A. No. We welcome people of all abilities. We have a beginner's class which is designed to introduce the basic steps to complete beginners.

Q. Are there any age limits?
A. We teach from the age of 4. We do not have an upper age limit. As long as you can walk, you can dance.

Q. Is booking necessary?
A. No need. You can just turn up.

Q. How long does it take to learn each dance?
A. On average, it takes 3 to 4 weeks in the beginner's class.
